I am feeling better enough at the moment to come here and let you know that this blog will be on hiatus for a couple of weeks. I had three more scheduled posts but the part of me who remembers who I was is upset that I’m in no place to connect with you all and am effectively wasting the long hours I put into this site. So I’m reserving the posts for later.

Wow, I was really sad to read this and your post of the 9th, Charlie. Taking a break definitely sounds like the right thing to do. When I’m hurt and upset, I find it impossible to engage with the world. Retreating to lick my wounds in the company only of those truly close to me is my strategy. Hope you return to a place where you feel ready to start posting again xx

Dear Worm Hole, your post “Situation” and this one prompted me to delurk. As usual I am dreadfully late catching up with the blogs to which I subscribe, but I wanted to let you know how impressed I am by your reviews and by the mind behind them. Thomas Carlyle wrote, “Adversity is the diamond dust Heaven polishes its jewels with”. If this is true, you are surely shaping into a uniquely bright sparkler. Hold on, and whatever happens, don’t give up.
