Apart from the usual mix of book reviews its been a quiet week for me. Not much of interest for my weekly round-up of funny events the news papers are full of football.

Replying the question first I still read what interests me first. I am not part of the publisher sending books circuit, so I get to choose my interesting picks. I like your picks. I tend to go towards Indian inspired reads particularly colonial India.
