Next Stop Procrastination #3

A photo of La Llareta

This photograph was taken by Christian Ostrosky.

Book reviewing and criticising (that new old topic), food, and natural history rule today. To paraphrase many a TV show presenter, it’s time for Next Stop Procrastination…

I personally like your bog standard pizza, but if you’d like a little variation you could perhaps try this.

It may be somewhat ironic, given that Sarah’s site is called Yes And Yes, but you’ll likely feel better for having read this post on the concept of saying ‘no’.

This is a (head’s up: fairly strongly-worded) post by Carrie about the times when you shouldn’t react to a review.

Larissa has started a short blog series on photography concepts that is good for beginners (I certainly learned a lot). I’ve provided the link to the first, and I believe she’s written more since.

What are the oldest living things in the world? As these photos show, some plants can live for a very, very long time.

What has piqued your interest on the Internet lately?

I should probably bookmark what has piqued my interest, but I’m lazy so I don’t. Sad, but true.

I’m off to peruse these links :)

Thanks for those links.

Apart from the usual mix of book reviews its been a quiet week for me. Not much of interest for my weekly round-up of funny events the news papers are full of football.

Replying the question first I still read what interests me first. I am not part of the publisher sending books circuit, so I get to choose my interesting picks. I like your picks. I tend to go towards Indian inspired reads particularly colonial India.

Thank you for sharing the links!

I hadn’t yet read Carrie’s article about How Not to Criticize a Book Reviewer and so eagerly visited her site to see what she had to say.
