I went with Whiskey Tango Foxtrot by David Shafer which without this challenge I can’t say for certain I would have read so I am extra thrilled I joined this because the book was fantastic!

First book in a series too… love that when you read a goodie and there is more to come. Would recommend “The Interrogation of Ashala Wolf.”

For the category of animal, I read Kate Atkinson’s Started Early, Took My Dog. It’s the fourth book in her Jackson Brodie series. Loved it.
