Read-A-Thon October 2010

24 Hour Read-A-Thon logo

This is just a short post because I’m currently studying hard in lure of the weekend. Like last time I won’t be reading for very long and because of time restraints will probably not be online much, but I do have a couple of books in mind to choose from and these will be The Bohemian Girl by Kenneth Cameron and Angelology by Danielle Trussoni. I also have a short story collection by Maile Meloy, Half In Love that I may choose instead because I’m currently favouring quick reads over full-length novels.

Whether or not you are taking part in Read-A-Thon, what are your plans for the weekend?

Good luck with the read-a-thon. I haven’t read any of those books but I’ve heard a lot about Angelology. Have fun!

Readathon-ing! And then on Sunday, I’ll be driving to an out of town wedding.

I really need to read Maile Meloy. Everyone seems to have good things to say about her. I’ll look forward to your review of Half in Love (And Both Ways is the Only Way I Want It, which I see in your sidebar is also upcoming!).

Have fun reading tomorrow!

The party’s just starting to pop
And you’re already having fun.
Don’t let the momentum stop
And get some reading done!

Hope you have a great reading day!!

I’m skipping all the mini-challenges this time, but attempting to just read and visit blogs. Hope you are having a great time reading!

A thought to mull over: “The best of a book is not the thought which it contains, but the thought which it suggests; just as the charm of music dwells not in the tones but in the echoes of our hearts.” — John Greenleaf Whittier

Enjoy your reading!
